Description of the Collaborative Tool
The collaborative tool that we chose to use is a BLOG. This blog is used to assist a community of learners and practitioners to help foster and develop their skills to the highest level resulting in positive growth and development in their institution. Information is shared among colleagues while giving them an opportunity to seek support, ask and answer questions and help provide useful resources to all age levels. This blog will emanate standards for a life-long journey of improvement at the institution. The blog was created using blogger.com which is easy to access and use from the video posted above. Blogger is a free blogging platform, easy to use and low risk. Being a free platform means that you can start creating immediately and it is easy to use for beginners and more experienced bloggers. It also gives resources and helpful features that makes for efficient blogging, with customized templates, Google AdSense, analytics and other features. Blogger also integrates well with the Google platform.
